RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Inventory Management: Keeping track of inventory levels. Reporting any discrepancies or low stock levels to supervisors.
- Labeling and Sorting: Labeling packed goods with shipping information, like addresses and tracking numbers. Sorting packages based on destination or delivery routes.
- Loading and Unloading: Assisting with loading packed items onto delivery trucks, and unloading supplies or inventory arriving at the warehouse.
- Maintaining a Clean and Safe Workspace: Keeping the working area clean and organized to ensure safety and efficiency. Complying with safety regulations and company policies.
- Using Warehouse Equipment: Safely operating warehouse equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Training may be required for operating certain machinery.
- Record Keeping: Accurately recording picking and packing activities, often using computer systems or manual logs.
- Communication and Teamwork: Working closely with other warehouse staff and supervisors, communicating any issues or delays in the picking and packing process.
