TIG Welder Jobs in Canada. Qualtech Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented TIG Welder (Welder–Assembler) to join our production team in Saint-Isidore, Quebec. This full-time role is ideal for a motivated professional with experience in stainless steel welding who takes pride in precision, quality workmanship, and teamwork in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Assemble and weld stainless steel components using GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) processes
  • Perform finishing, polishing (asset), and cleaning of assembled equipment
  • Inspect welds, assemblies, and installations to ensure compliance with drawings and quality standards
  • Identify and report production errors or issues to the Production Supervisor and document them in manufacturing reports
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, tools, and work methods
  • Attend plant meetings and support effective communication across departments
  • Share expertise and provide support to team members when required
  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and collaborative work environment
  • Follow all health and safety rules and company procedures
  • Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

  • DEP in Welding and Assembly (Soudage-Montage) or equivalent
  • Experience welding stainless steel using TIG (GTAW); MIG (GMAW) experience is an asset
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Good physical condition
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Knowledge of welding quality control standards
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety
