Responsibilities for Warehouse Incharge:
The responsibilities for the job of Warehouse Incharges are as following.
- Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods
- Ensure accurate inventory management and real-time updates using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Coordinate deliveries with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce all workplace safety protocols
- Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff to maintain a high-performing team
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations
- Plan and execute seasonal inventory audits and regular cycle counts
- Track warehouse performance and generate inventory and logistics reports
- Resolve inventory discrepancies and respond to customer complaints efficiently
- Manage warehouse budget, optimizing costs without compromising on quality or safety
Requirements for Warehouse Incharge:
The requirements for the job of Warehouse Incharges are as following.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (preferred)
- Certification in supply chain or logistics (e.g., APICS, CILT) is a strong advantage
- Proven experience in warehouse or logistics supervision roles
- Strong understanding of warehouse software systems (WMS) and inventory control processes
- Fluent in English; additional languages (Arabic, Hindi, etc.) are a plus
- Physically fit and capable of handling manual warehouse duties
- Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines
- Knowledge of safety regulations and warehouse compliance standards
