Responsibilities for Waiter/Waitress:
The responsibilities for the job of Waiter/Waitresses are as following.
- Welcome and seat guests with warmth and hospitality.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver them promptly.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond quickly to requests or concerns.
- Upsell food and drink items by knowing menu details and specials.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area at all times.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards and company policies.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately through POS systems.
- Support teammates during busy service hours and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Assist in restaurant setup, breakdown, and shift closing procedures.
Requirements for Waiter/Waitress:
The requirements for the job of Waiter/Waitresess are as following.
- Minimum high school education or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a waiter/waitress in a hotel, fine-dining, or upscale restaurant is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be located in or willing to relocate to Qatar.
- Must be eligible to legally work in Qatar.
Skills and Knowledge Desired:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, energetic, and team-oriented personality.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Good memory and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS systems and order-tracking software.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
- A passion for service and hospitality excellence.
