Responsibilities for Waiter/Waitress:
The responsibilities for the job of Waiter/Waitresses are as following.
- Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a memorable dining experience
- Present menus and daily specials in a proactive and knowledgeable manner
- Serve food and beverages according to hotel service standards and etiquette
- Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently
- Follow all grooming and hygiene standards as required
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests
- Maintain detailed knowledge of menu items, garnishes, and beverage pairings
- Use service checklists for opening and closing procedures
- Record guest preferences and update guest profiles for personalized service
- Monitor and follow up on guest feedback, reporting any issues via the glitch system
- Comply with HACCP, FIFO, and food safety regulations
- Attend daily briefings and participate in all required training sessions
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily financial and customer satisfaction targets
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness, stock levels, and presentation of service stations
Requirements for Waiter/Waitress:
The requirements for the job of Waiter/Waitresses are as following.
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar food & beverage service role, ideally in luxury hotels or fine dining
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Good understanding of POS systems and basic financial handling procedures
- Willingness to follow the hotel’s evacuation, emergency, and safety protocols
