Waiter Waitress Job in Dubai is based at Arabian Park Dubai, Edge by Rotana. The role is for a motivated Food & Beverage professional who can provide friendly and professional service to guests. The Waiter / Waitress will serve food and beverages, greet and seat customers, know the menu, maintain food quality, handle guest questions and complaints, keep the outlet clean, prepare for service, reduce waste, and use up-selling techniques. Candidates should ideally have hospitality education or food and beverage training, previous experience in a busy restaurant, good English skills, and strong customer service and teamwork skills.

The position will be based at Arabian Park Dubai, Edge by Rotana.

As a Waiter / Waitress, you are responsible for providing professional service to our guests and ensuring their restaurant visit becomes a memorable dining experience. Your role will include key responsibilities such as:

• Perform all necessary tasks to service food and beverage according to the standard of performance manual of the hotel.
• Greet and seat customers and serve them in a professional, discreet, and personalized way.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of the food and beverage menu of the assigned outlet in order to assist and provide advice to guests.
• Consistently monitor the quality of food and beverages being served.
• Practice good customer relations and attend to customer complaints and queries satisfactorily.
• Be responsible for maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards in the outlet and the upkeep of all service equipment.
• Be responsible for all service preparations before, during, and after the service (mise-en-place and mise-en-scène).
• Ensure minimum wastage, breakage, and spoilage.
• Actively use up-selling techniques to exceed guest expectations and increase revenue.

Skills

Education, Qualifications & Experiences

You should ideally have a diploma or degree in hospitality or vocational training in food and beverage, with previous experience as a Waiter / Waitress in a high-volume restaurant. A good command of English and additional skills, such as guest service and interpersonal skills, are essential.
