UFA is seeking a dedicated and safety-focused Truck Driver to join its Operations team in Alberta, Canada. This full-time role plays a critical part in ensuring timely, accurate, and safe deliveries to UFA members and customers. As a frontline representative of the organization, the Truck Driver significantly influences customer satisfaction while upholding the highest standards of safety, environmental responsibility, and service excellence.

Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service in line with UFA’s service guidelines, including frequent heavy lifting
- Make safe, timely, and accurate deliveries to UFA members and customers
- Comply with all Transportation regulations, OH&S standards, and UFA Fleet policies
- Maintain driver logs, vehicle inspections, and adhere to commercial driver expectations
- Load and unload trucks while ensuring products match delivery documentation
- Follow UFA’s loading, unloading, and safety procedures to secure products safely
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties when not on delivery
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as required
- Perform forklift and equipment maintenance, including safety checks
- Maintain delivery logbooks accurately
- Support additional operational duties such as inventory counts, vendor shipments, after-hours on-call rotation, cardlock maintenance, site inspections, cleaning, and snow removal when required
Requirements
- Grade 12 diploma with 1–2 years of related experience, or 3–5 years of equivalent experience
- Clean Class 1 (or Class 3 with Q endorsement) driver’s abstract
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 25 kg regularly
- Basic computer literacy skills
- Ability to work at heights
- Forklift license (if applicable)
- Willingness to pass a drug and alcohol screening test as this is a safety-sensitive position

- Experience with shipping, receiving, and material handling
- Forklift operation and equipment safety knowledge
- Agricultural or petroleum industry background (desirable)
- Organizational skills for maintaining logs and inspections
