Responsibilities for Storekeeper:

The responsibilities for the job of Storekeepers are as following.

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods and materials
  • Organize and label inventory for efficient storage and retrieval
  • Issue items to departments based on approved requests
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records
  • Perform regular inventory audits and reconcile stock discrepancies
  • Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of the store/warehouse area
  • Communicate effectively with the purchasing and operations teams for timely replenishment of stock
  • Follow all standard operating procedures to minimize errors and losses
  • Assist in handling or moving items when needed

Requirements for Storekeeper:

The requirements for the job of Storekeepers are as following.

  • Proven experience in warehouse, inventory, or storekeeping roles
  • Good knowledge of stock control procedures and inventory software
