Responsibilities for Storekeeper:
The responsibilities for the job of Storekeepers are as following.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods and materials
- Organize and label inventory for efficient storage and retrieval
- Issue items to departments based on approved requests
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records
- Perform regular inventory audits and reconcile stock discrepancies
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of the store/warehouse area
- Communicate effectively with the purchasing and operations teams for timely replenishment of stock
- Follow all standard operating procedures to minimize errors and losses
- Assist in handling or moving items when needed
Requirements for Storekeeper:
The requirements for the job of Storekeepers are as following.
- Proven experience in warehouse, inventory, or storekeeping roles
- Good knowledge of stock control procedures and inventory software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Physical fitness to handle lifting and movement of goods
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in the logistics or relocation industry is preferred
