Responsibilities for Security Guard:

The responsibilities for the job of Security Guards are as following.

• Conduct regular patrols inside and outside client premises
• Monitor and secure building entrances
• Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions
• Greet and assist employees, visitors, and guests
• Handle situations using de-escalation techniques
• Maintain professional presence at all times
• Document incidents and write detailed reports
• Communicate observations clearly to supervisors or emergency services
• Use security technology and communication tools effectively
• Prevent unauthorized access or suspicious activities

Requirements for Security Guard:

The requirements for the job of Security Guards are as following.

• Minimum 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Willingness to undergo background check
• Ability to work full-time, including weekends or nights if needed
• Physically fit – capable of patrolling throughout shift
• Professional attitude, punctual, and responsible

Skills and Knowledge Desired:

• Strong attention to detail and vigilance
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Intermediate computer skills (for incident reports & logs)
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve conflicts
• Good interpersonal skills to work with a diverse range of people
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols and emergency procedures

• $20.00–$21.00/hour
