Responsibilities for Project Manager:
The responsibilities for the job of Project Managers are as following.
- Implementing and maintaining project management best practices across the organisation.
- Planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects in line with scope, budget, and timeline.
- Leading multi-disciplinary teams across science, engineering, software, and quality control.
- Acting as the primary communication bridge between teams, leadership, and stakeholders.
- Preparing project documentation, meeting notes, agendas, and progress reports.
- Identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies proactively.
- Managing resources, dependencies, and budgets to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Collaborating with Product and Quality Managers to align projects with business objectives.
- Facilitating continuous improvement by documenting lessons learned.
- Supporting change management and process optimization initiatives.
Requirements for Project Manager:
The requirements for the job of Project Managers are as following.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Advanced qualification such as an MBA, Master’s in Project Management, or PMP/PRINCE2 certification (preferred).
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects—preferably in biotech, agriculture, or R&D sectors.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies like Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
