Responsibilities for Poultry Farm Labourer:
The responsibilities for the job of Poultry Farm Labourers are as following.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a large-scale poultry farm environment
- Ability to read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Basic mathematics skills (for hatchery tasks and chick counting)
- Knowledge of poultry health issues and animal welfare standards
- Experience operating farm machinery and troubleshooting mechanical issues
- Strong English language skills for communication and following instructions
- Physically fit and able to work in hot conditions
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and teamwork skills
- Current passport and police clearance are mandatory
Requirements for Poultry Farm Labourer:
The requirements for the job of Poultry Farm Labourer are as following.
- Education: College diploma or certificate from a 1–2 year program (CEGEP or equivalent)
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience in the mechanical or civil engineering field
- Language: English (spoken and written)
- Work Authorization: Must be legally eligible to work in New Zealand
- Availability: Willingness to work 30 hours per week in various site environments
