Responsibilities for Picker and Packer:
The responsibilities for the job of Picker and Packer are as following.
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Palletising stock and preparing for storage or dispatch.
- Maintaining quality and freshness of seafood products.
- Cleaning work areas, cool rooms, and storage facilities.
- Performing general warehouse and processing tasks as required.
Requirements for Picker and Packer:
The requirements for the job of Picker and Packer are as following.
- Forklift license.
- Certified medically fit for manual handling tasks.
- Physically fit and able to handle repetitive heavy lifting.
- Must be available for early morning starts (12:00 AM start).
- Knowledge of HACCP food safety programs and cold chain processes.
Skills and Knowledge Desired:
- Experience in food handling (seafood preferred).
- Ability to work early morning shifts (12am–8am).
- Physically fit – capable of repetitive heavy lifting.
- Must pass a medical fitness assessment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
