RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Using various types of machinery and equipment to perform manufacturing tasks, such as assembly line work, operating conveyor belts, packaging products, or handling tools
  • Checking products for defects or imperfections during the production process and ensuring that they meet quality standards set by the company
  • Adhering strictly to safety guidelines and protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), using machinery correctly, and following safety procedures to prevent accidents or injuries
  • Assembling components or parts to create finished products, following standardized procedures or instructions provided by supervisors or manuals
  • Keeping work areas clean, organized, and free of clutter, including proper disposal of waste materials and maintaining equipment cleanliness
  • Working cooperatively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth production processes, troubleshoot issues, and achieve production targets
  • Managing inventory levels by tracking materials, reporting shortages, and assisting in stock replenishment to ensure continuous production flow
  • Understanding and adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and instructions provided for each task or job function
  • Identifying and reporting equipment malfunctions or issues to maintenance staff or supervisors and performing minor maintenance tasks or adjustments as required
  • Being flexible and adaptable to changes in production schedules, methods, or tasks, and being willing to learn new skills or take on different responsibilities as needed
