Housekeeping Supervisor Jobs in Australia. SeaLink K’gari (Fraser Island) is looking for a passionate and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join the team at Kingfisher Bay Resort. This permanent, part-time position offers a unique opportunity to live and work on the beautiful island, with up to 76 hours per fortnight. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of supervisory experience in housekeeping, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. In this role, you will manage housekeeping operations, supervise cleaning duties, mentor team members, and maintain high cleanliness standards to enhance the guest experience. Full Job Description

• Supportingthe Housekeeping Manager with workforce management, administration, rostering and operational service of the entire housekeeping department.
• Supervise and perform various cleaning duties of Hotel Rooms and Apartments in compliance to resort standards
• Monitor and maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms and provide necessary training to staff to ensure standards are met
• Supervise and provide mentorship to team leaders
• Monitor as required the disposal of laundry and garbage and recycle items where necessary
• Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to, including compliance of maintenance and HSE reporting.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a housekeeping supervisor role in a similar environment and meticulous attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to work in a close team environment
• Previous hotel or resort cleaning experience
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise and organise multiple tasks with a commitment to deliver results
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proven ability to work under pressure and resolve problems
• Experience in motivating team members to achieve targets and outcomes
