The team has roles in:
- Housekeeping
- Servery
- Kitchen Assistant
- Café
Housekeeping Assistants
Housekeeping Assistants provide cleaning and laundry services. They help maintain strong infection control and a safe, healthy living environment.
Their duties include:
- Cleaning resident rooms.
- Cleaning common areas.
- Cleaning dining spaces.
- Cleaning administration offices.
- Cleaning entrances and outdoor areas.
- Providing laundry services to support residents’ daily needs.
Servery & Kitchen Assistants
Servery and Kitchen Assistants support the hospitality team. Their duties include:
- Helping with food preparation.
- Plating food.
- Serving meals.
- Washing dishes.
- Keeping kitchen and dining areas clean.
They help ensure residents receive nutritious meals and enjoy a positive dining experience.
Café Assistants
Café Assistants provide friendly and professional service to residents, families, and visitors.
Their duties include:
- Preparing and serving beverages.
- Supporting light food service.
- Maintaining high café presentation standards.
- Creating a warm and welcoming social environment.
These roles are hands-on and physical. You will do a lot of bending, squatting, lifting, and pushing. You must be able to perform these tasks safely without risk of injury to yourself, your colleagues, or residents.

You are compassionate, service-focused, and enjoy working with a team. You have a positive attitude, good communication skills, and take pride in providing excellent service through cleaning, food preparation, or customer interaction.

The following skills are also required:
- Cleaning, hospitality, food service, or customer service experience is preferred but not essential, depending on the role.
- Ability to use daily checklists and follow agreed safety procedures.
- Ability to work safely with chemicals, hazardous products, and heated equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High empathy, as you will interact with residents every day.
- Ability to arrive on time, be ready to start your shift, and follow the day’s activities with a positive attitude.
- A safety-first approach to daily tasks and supporting colleagues so everyone goes home safe and positive.
