Tasks

• Book appointments.
• Cut and trim hair according to clients’ instructions or preferences.
• Shampoo customers’ hair.
• Shave and trim beards and mustaches.
• Provide other hair treatments, such as waving, straightening, and tinting. Also provide scalp conditioning massages.
• Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to colour, frost, or streak hair.
• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair.
• Suggest hairstyles that match clients’ physical features and preferences.
• Perform receptionist duties.
