Responsibilities for Fruit Farm Worker:
The responsibilities for the job of Fruit Farm Workers are as following.
- Cleaning and preparing crops
- Grading vegetables and fruits by size, shape, color, and volume to meet market standards
- Cleaning greenhouses and maintaining plant health
- Hand-harvesting vegetables and greenhouse crops
- Leveling earth and preparing fields to fine-grade specifications
- Planting, cultivating, and irrigating crops
- Removing suckers and water sprouts manually
- Tying and securing plants for proper growth
- Fertilizing and spraying crops as required
- Monitoring and reporting signs of insect infestations or disease damage
- Cutting horticultural crops during harvest
- Keeping the work area clean and organized
Requirements for Fruit Farm Worker:
The requirements for the job of Fruit Farm Workers are as following.
- Work Term: Temporary
- Language: English
- Hours: 40 to 60 hours per week
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Experience: No prior experience necessary – training will be provided
- Transportation: Must have own transportation, as public transit is not available in the area
- Work Setting: Rural area, greenhouse and field environments

- Physically fit, able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks, long hours, and standing for extended periods
