Looking for a hands-on, fast-paced job where no two days are the same? We’re hiring Food Counter Attendants to join our kitchen and front-of-house team. Whether you’re serving customers, prepping food, or keeping things clean, you’ll play a key role in creating a great dining experience. No prior experience is needed—just a great attitude and willingness to learn!

Responsibilities for Food Counter Attendant:

The responsibilities for the job of Food Counter Attendant are as following.

  • Customer Service & Front of House:
  • Greet customers and take orders with a friendly attitude
  • Serve food at the counter or buffet-style
  • Replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving stations
  • Food Prep & Back of House:
  • Prepare and finish simple food items
  • Portion, wrap, and package take-out meals
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits
  • Use manual and electric kitchen tools safely
  • Cleaning & Maintenance:
  • Operate dishwashers and sanitize kitchenware by hand
  • Keep tables, trays, and work areas clean and sanitized
  • Sweep, mop, and polish kitchen floors
  • Handle and store cleaning products properly
  • Remove garbage and keep kitchen tidy
  • Maintain inventory and restock supplies

Requirements for Food Counter Attendant:

The requirements for the job of Food Counter Attendant are as following.

  • No degree or diploma required
  • No experience needed – training provided

Skills and Knowledge Desired:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Safe Food Handling Certificate (or willing to obtain – training support available)
  • Willing to relocate (relocation costs covered by employer)
  • Must work on-site – remote work not available
  • Public transportation access available
