The F&B Supervisor – Banquet and Events role in Qatar is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality. In this position, you will oversee daily operations for food and beverage services at outside catering events and banquets. Your main objective will be to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain high-quality standards that enhance the guest experience. Responsibilities for F&B Supervisor:

The responsibilities for the job of F&B Supervisors are as following.

  • Supervise daily operations for food and beverage services at outside catering and banquet events.
  • Ensure efficient and courteous service to meet or exceed guest expectations.
  • Oversee and train F&B colleagues, guiding them on service standards, product knowledge, and guest interactions.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the kitchen and purchasing departments to ensure all supplies are available.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of dining areas, adhering to hygiene and sanitation standards.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Work closely with kitchen colleagues to ensure timely food and beverage preparation and presentation.
  • Assist in implementing F&B promotions and events to attract and retain guests.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and guests.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the F&B department.
  • Collaborate with management to meet financial goals and enhance departmental performance.

Requirements for F&B Supervisor:

The requirements for the job of F&B Supervisor are as following.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a similar role within the hospitality industry.

    Skills and Knowledge Desired:

    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team and guide colleagues in providing excellent guest service.
    • Excellent communication skills to interact with guests, colleagues, and other departments.
    • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and practices.
    • Ability to monitor and manage inventory effectively.
    • A strong understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in the food service industry.
    • Ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
