Responsibilities for F&B Attendant:

The responsibilities for the job of F&B Attendants are as following.

  • Greeting and seating guests, presenting menus, and taking accurate food and beverage orders.
  • Ensuring tables are properly set and service areas are stocked and clean.
  • Carrying out daily mise-en-place duties for both restaurant and in-room dining services.
  • Delivering room service trays and trolleys with promptness and courtesy.
  • Providing detailed menu knowledge and recommending dishes or drinks using suggestive selling techniques.
  • Assisting with banquet events, special occasions, and holiday operations.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and a high level of guest service, even during peak hours.
  • Coordinating with departments like housekeeping, kitchen, and front office to ensure smooth service.
  • Logging guest complaints and following up to ensure satisfaction.
  • Performing F&B administrative support, including bookings, event planning, and guest request management.

Requirements for F&B Attendant:

The requirements for the job of F&B Attendants are as following.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Tourism, or a related hospitality field (preferred).
  • At least 1 year of previous experience in food and beverage service, ideally within a hotel or luxury restaurant environment.
  • Knowledge of hotel operating systems, POS (Micros), and basic cashiering functions.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional language skills are a plus.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
