Responsibilities for Farm worker:

The responsibilities for the job of Farm workers are as following.

• Clear and collect brush, wood, and debris from fields, pens, and work areas.
• Disinfect barns, pens, and poultry houses to maintain hygiene standards.
• Monitor the calving process and prepare clean, dry areas for newborn calves.
• Feed and tend to animals, ensuring their health and well-being.
• Plant, cultivate, irrigate, fertilize, spray, and weed crops.
• Harvest crops and store them appropriately.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• Organize daily farm tasks and work schedules efficiently.
• Perform general farm duties, including cleaning stables, barnyards, and pens.

Requirements for Farm worker:

The requirements for the job of Farm workers are as following.

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: Farming experience is an asset, but not mandatory.
• Ability to work 60 hours per week in a rural environment.
• Willingness to relocate if necessary.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Must own personal safety equipment, including steel-toed boots and gloves.
