Farm Assistant Jobs Full Description

Our client is looking for motivated Farm Assistant in the Waikato area, with weekly guaranteed hours of at least 40 and a gross annual salary between $80000 and $85000.
In this role you will be part of a successful team, work in the production farm environment. You will be working on a busy dairy farm, this role will keep you on your toes. Rental accomondation will be provided, the employee will need to pay for the rental charge, electricity and internet cost.

Responsibilities Will Include:

• Get in, milk and lock away cows, cleaning and maintaing to high standard of cowshed and surrounding areas, repairs and maintenance to farm fences and water supply system.
• During calving will be required to pick up calves and feed and look after health of cows and calves, including cleaning of calve sheds.
• Operate tractors and feed cows when required.
• Weed and pest control.
• All other reasonable farm duties required.

The Ideal Candidate Will Need:

• At least 1 year’s experiences
• Must have reliable transport.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Must have a valid drive license.
