Fabricator Welder Jobs Full Description
- Fabricate and weld bespoke metalwork from drawings, sketches, or concept ideas.
- Work with a variety of metals, including stainless steel, mild steel, brass, and aluminium.
- Perform TIG, MIG, and occasionally stick welding to a high standard.
- Operate metalworking tools such as saws, grinders, drills, and CNC or manual bending equipment.
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and clients to bring creative visions to life.
- Ensure a high level of finish, including polishing, patination, and other specialist treatments.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in fabrication and welding, preferably in bespoke or artistic metalwork.
- Strong TIG and MIG welding skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Experience in finishing techniques such as polishing, etching, or patination is a plus.
- A problem-solving mindset with a passion for craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dedicated team.
