Delivery Driver Jobs in Canada. Propane Depot Inc. is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team in Burnaby, BC. In this full-time, permanent position, you will be responsible for operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, including dangerous goods. Your duties will include loading and unloading goods, maintaining accurate records of deliveries, providing excellent customer service, and performing vehicle inspections. If you have a valid Class 5/5F/G driver’s license, at least 7 months of experience in a similar role, and are ready to work in a physically demanding environment, we encourage you to apply.

Full Job Description

Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products Keep a record of items received and delivered Transport and handle dangerous goods Load and unload goods Follow directions and read map Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems Provide customer service Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle

Certificates, Licences, Memberships, and Courses

Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles) Attention to detail Physically demanding Are you available for the advertised start date? Are you currently legally able to work in Canada? Do you have previous experience in this field of employment? Do you have the above-indicated required certifications?

Experience

7 months to less than 1 year Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans
