Job Overview

Join our team as a Public Cleaner and help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of public spaces. This energetic role gives you the chance to help create a welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and the community. As a Public Cleaner, you will keep all designated areas clean, well-maintained, and inviting. These areas include the lobby, restaurant, hallways, stairwells, washrooms, and amenities.

We are looking for a candidate who can work the following consistently:

• Saturdays 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Sundays 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Mondays 5:00 PM – 12:30 AM
• Thursdays 5:00 PM – 12:30 AM

WHMIS Training and/or First Aid Training is an asset.

Cleaning experience is an asset, but it is not mandatory for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in high-traffic areas such as lobbies, hallways, and stairwells.
• Handle waste disposal efficiently by emptying trash bins and recycling containers regularly.
• Use industrial cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively to ensure thorough sanitation.
• Follow established cleaning protocols for hospitality or industrial environments to meet health standards.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly for quick resolution.
• Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed to uphold cleanliness standards.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
