Responsibilities for Cafe Assistant:

The responsibilities for the job of Cafe Assistants are as following.

  • Deliver outstanding front-of-house service in a busy café environment.
  • Prepare high-quality barista coffee and serve cabinet food.
  • Take orders using the POS system with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide excellent customer service to staff and guests.
  • Assist with basic kitchen prep work and food presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in both café and service areas.
  • Support catering services for corporate functions, meetings, and events.

Requirements for Cafe Assistant:

The requirements for the job of Cafe Assistants are as following.

  • Previous barista and café service experience, ideally in a high-volume environment (serving 600+ coffees per day).
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and a strong team player.
  • Good time management and multitasking skills.
  • Flexibility to support catering and café operations.
  • Must be able to pass relevant background checks (criminal and credit).
