Responsibilities for Accountant:

The responsibilities for the job of Accountants are as following.

  • Manage month-end and year-end closings in compliance with Saudi Accounting Standards and statutory audit requirements
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, cost reports, and budget performance reports (TB, BS, and P&L)
  • Reconcile project status, interim billing, advance receipts, and progress invoices
  • Verify and reconcile bank statements, petty cash transactions, imprest accounts, and advance payments
  • Supervise monthly provisions for costs, revenue, depreciation, and general operating expenses
  • Review and process supplier invoices, payment certificates, and sales invoices
  • Follow up on Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) and confirm all related statements
  • Monitor fixed assets and inventory control, and participate in audits
  • Coordinate with banks on fund-based and non-fund-based credit facilities
  • Support the Group Account Head during audits and handle special assignments from management

Requirements for Accountant:

The requirements for the job of Accountants are as following.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Knowledge of Saudi Accounting Standards and statutory requirements
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar accounting role (preferably in construction or civil engineering)
  • Proficient in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong understanding of general ledger, cost control, and financial reporting procedures
  • Fluency in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure
