Responsibilities
- Support meat processing operations within the facility
- Follow health and safety, quality, and technical compliance procedures
- Work collaboratively as part of the processing team
- Maintain hygiene and workplace standards
- Participate in on-the-job training and skill development
Requirements
- No experience required; full training provided
- Must be 18 years or older
- Eligible to work in New Zealand (no overseas applications accepted)
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical checks, criminal record check, and drug screening
- Physically fit and able to meet job demands
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable attendance and teamwork
Skills
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures

Advantageous but not required:
- Knife handling skills
- Trimming experience

Benefits
- Minimum pay of $28.82 per hour plus additional earnings
- $43 per hour overtime rate during peak production
- Typically 40 hours per week during peak season with overtime opportunities
- Evening shift: 3:30 pm – 12:30 am
