Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Economics lessons aligned with the IB curriculum
- Inspire intellectual curiosity and encourage independent thinking beyond the examination syllabus
- Support students’ academic progress, well-being, and personal development
- Contribute to co-curricular and enrichment activities, including academic clubs and societies
- Maintain high standards of pastoral care and foster positive relationships with students and colleagues
- Participate in departmental collaboration, professional development, and school-wide initiatives
- Uphold safeguarding and child protection standards at all times
Requirements
- Relevant teaching qualification and subject specialization in Economics
- Experience teaching Economics, preferably within an IB framework
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to work within an international and multicultural environment
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Ability to meet background and police check requirements
