Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications
- Assemble and weld stainless steel components using GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) processes
- Perform finishing, polishing (asset), and cleaning of assembled equipment
- Inspect welds, assemblies, and installations to ensure compliance with drawings and quality standards
- Identify and report production errors or issues to the Production Supervisor and document them in manufacturing reports
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, tools, and work methods
- Attend plant meetings and support effective communication across departments
- Share expertise and provide support to team members when required
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and collaborative work environment
- Follow all health and safety rules and company procedures
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
- DEP in Welding and Assembly (Soudage-Montage) or equivalent
- Experience welding stainless steel using TIG (GTAW); MIG (GMAW) experience is an asset
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Good physical condition
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Knowledge of welding quality control standards
