Responsibilities for Warehouse Officer:

The responsibilities for the job of Warehouse Officers are as following.

• Manage the day-to-day warehouse operations safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
• Ensure all receiving, storage, and distribution of materials meet company and legal standards.
• Support maintenance and production teams with accurate inventory management.
• Drive safety and environmental objectives through adherence to safe work practices.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives using JIGPC Business System principles.
• Monitor and report on audits, KPIs, and warehouse performance metrics.
• Optimize stock holdings by applying inventory management and security principles.
• Maintain accurate electronic and physical inventory records with regular audits.
• Provide training and support to internal customers regarding supply system use.
• Handle hazardous materials safely in compliance with relevant standards and legislation.
• Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, mobile equipment) safely and responsibly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and meet operational goals.

Requirements for Warehouse Officer:

The requirements for the job of Warehouse Officers are as following.

• Diploma or higher qualification (minimum requirement).
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience in chemical, refinery, gas plant, maintenance, inspection, or engineering.
• 5+ years of material handling experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of computerized stock control systems (SAP expertise required).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Training in hazardous materials handling.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Licensed/certified to operate warehouse mobile equipment (or ability to obtain shortly after hire).
