Responsibilities for Factory Cleaner:
The responsibilities for the job of Factory Cleaners are as following.
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly
- Clean factory machinery and surfaces thoroughly
- Dismantle and reassemble equipment for internal cleaning
- Maintain hygiene standards throughout the plant
- Assist in training new cleaners once experienced
Requirements for Factory Cleaner:
The requirements for the job of Factory Cleaners are as following.
- No prior cleaning experience required (training provided)
- Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends if needed
- Willingness to learn and work in a physically demanding environment
Skills and Knowledge Desired:
- High attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physical fitness to handle labor-intensive tasks
- Ability to work under pressure
- Understanding of health, safety, and chemical handling procedures is a plus
- Experience in shellfish or food processing is advantageous but not required
