Responsibilities for Warehouse Attendant:
The responsibilities for the job of Warehouse Attendant are as following.
- Review maintenance and operations requests, retrieve required parts, and deliver as needed
- Receive incoming goods, verify accuracy and quality, and input data into inventory systems
- Ensure high safety standards by conducting regular inspections and following procedures
- Maintain detailed records for purchase order receipts and material reservations
- Respond to internal and external inquiries about material availability and status
- Apply effective inventory management techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and organization across warehouse facilities
- Operate forklifts, dock levelers, power doors, and other material handling equipment
Requirements for Warehouse Attendant:
The requirements for the job of Warehouse Attendant are as following.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse or purchasing-related experience preferred
- Familiarity with SAP or similar inventory software is an asset
- Experience with inventory tracking systems and logistics is preferred
Skills and Knowledge Desired:
- Ability to understand and follow safety rules, procedures, and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physically capable of lifting, crouching, climbing, and performing labor-intensive tasks
- Proactive mindset with a strong commitment to workplace safety and team collaboration
