Perini Management Services Inc., a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to join the construction team to restore National Park Service landmarks. Responsibilities for Construction Project Engineer:
The responsibilities for the job of Gardeners are as following.
Project Planning & Coordination
- Collaborate with architects and engineers during all project phases, including pre-construction and design
- Assist in the development of project budgets, timelines, and procurement schedules
- Review design documents for constructability and manage distribution to clients and subcontractors
Construction Management
- Support project scheduling, tracking progress and updating timelines monthly
- Process change orders and manage project scope with clients, subcontractors, and design teams
- Assist in vendor/subcontractor selection and procurement processes
- Monitor costs and help manage project budgets
- Coordinate with clients and security officers to ensure base access and clearance
Construction Oversight
- Support day-to-day on-site construction activities to ensure alignment with project plans
- Monitor safety protocols and compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Coordinate timely delivery and quality of services from subcontractors and vendors
Documentation & Reporting
- Document meetings, track decisions and follow up on action items
- Manage submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs)
- Support Quality Control (QC) inspections and ensure adherence to quality standards
Requirements for Construction Project Engineer:
The requirements for the job of Gardeners are as following.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of project engineering experience on federal or government construction projects
Skills and Knowledge Desired:
- Strong verbal and written communication
