Are you a compassionate individual looking for a rewarding caregiver job in Jersey City, NJ? PennReach, Inc. is hiring an In Home Caregiver to support a highly independent client with developmental disabilities. This part-time role offers a flexible Monday-to-Friday schedule (8:30 AM – 2:00 PM) and a competitive pay rate of $19.00 per hour, along with excellent benefits like health insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k). Responsibilities for Caregiver:

The responsibilities for the job of Caregiver are as following.

• Daily Living Assistance: Help with daily skills and medication to foster independence.
• Community Integration: Accompany client to appointments, job searches, and community activities.
• Skill Building: Use creative, personalized strategies to help meet client goals in accordance with their Individual Habilitation Plan (IHP).
• Support Planning: Join and contribute to the client’s Circle of Support.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records and submit timely claim forms.
• Crisis Response: Handle emergencies calmly and effectively using sound judgment..

Requirements for Caregiver:

The requirements for the job of Caregiver are as following.

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older.
• Driver’s License: Valid NJ license with a clean driving record.

Skills and Knowledge Desired:

• Transportation: Access to a reliable personal vehicle for client transport.
• Checks & Compliance: Ability to pass drug screening, criminal background checks, and complete fingerprinting.
• Training: Willingness to complete online and hands-on training modules.
• Character: Patient, dependable, creative, and able to work independently.
