This full-time role is essential to keeping our farm running smoothly, ensuring the health and happiness of our livestock, and supporting our daily operations. No experience? No problem—we provide hands-on training to help you succeed!

Responsibilities for Farm Hand:

The responsibilities for the job of Farm Hand are as following.

  • Livestock Care: Feed and care for calves and cows, ensuring their health and welfare.
  • Daily Maintenance: Clean stalls, calf and cow pens, work areas, and the milk house, including milking equipment.
  • Farm Operations: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment (training provided!).
  • Harvesting Support: Assist with mowing and storing hay and straw.
  • Groundskeeping: Perform lawn maintenance using a lawn tractor, push mower, and trimmer.

Requirements for Farm Hand:

The requirements for the job of Farm Hand are as following.

  • Secondary school diploma preferred, but not mandatory
  • Prior dairy farm or livestock experience is a bonus, but not required—training is provided.

Skills and Knowledge Desired:

  • Basic knowledge of farm machinery is an asset, but willingness to learn is key.
  • Comfortable with physical tasks like lifting, bending, and walking long distances.
  • Ability to work independently or collaborate with our friendly farm crew.
  • Good verbal skills to coordinate with the team.
