This full-time, permanent role offers competitive pay ranging from $24 to $30 per hour, depending on experience, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. As a Factory Worker, you will be responsible for tasks such as weighing, measuring, mixing ingredients, operating machinery, and ensuring product quality before packaging. Additionally, you will be involved in cleaning equipment, maintaining safe work practices, and supporting your team. If you have at least 2 years of relevant experience or a Level 4 qualification, strong communication skills, and a focus on safety and quality, we would love to hear from you!

Factory Worker Jobs Full Description

• weighing, measuring, mixing, dissolving and boiling ingredients
• adding materials, such as spices and preservatives, to healthy supplement products
• operating heating, chilling, freezing, pasteurising, carbonating, sulphuring and desulphuring plant
• monitoring product quality before packaging by inspecting, taking samples and adjusting treatment conditions, completing production document when necessary
• operating machines, such as a depalletiser, labeller, packer, palletiser to process healthy and supplement ingredients
• cleaning equipment, pumps, hoses, storage tanks, vessels and floors, and maintaining infestation control programs
• regulating speed of conveyors and crusher rollers, and adjusting tension of rollers to ensure total extraction of juice from sugar cane
• moving products from production lines into storage and shipping areas
• packaging and bottling products
• Work collaboratively with team members, sharing information and supporting each other;
• Ensure machines are maintained and any required maintenance is actioned by our Maintenance Team, including recording any machine breakdowns;
• Ensure safe work practices are adhered to at all times;
• Ensure product safety at all times.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years’ relevant work experience, or a relevant qualification at level 4 or above Qualification
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively in a team environment
• Organisation and prioritization skills
• Solution focus and the ability to problem solve with support from your team leader
