Calder Stewart Steel is recognised as a premium custom fabricator, continuously identifying ways to streamline steel detailing, pricing, and final fabrication through the use of state-of-the-art software. Our innovative work supports the construction of our buildings by enabling less site welding, more accurate structures, and the ability to undertake large-scale construction projects. We are looking to engage with experienced Welders for our team based in Milton. Our Welders are responsible for the quality welding of steel components that are essential to our wider business.
Skills and Attributes
- The ability to obtain a welding ticket.
- Two to four years of structural welding and/or fabricating experience.
- Ability to read, understand and follow engineering drawings accurately (essential).
- Can produce high quality work efficiently.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate with both staff and customers.
- Willingness to do shift work and travel when required.
- You will be versatile and able to confidently handle a wide variety of work.
- Flexible with working hours and willing to do overtime when required.
