Full Job Description

• Drive a heavy truck with goods
• Ensure safe and efficient collection and delivery of freight to commercial customers in also timely manner
• Carefully maneuver vehicles into position for loading and unloading
• Ensure your vehicle is loaded safely and correctly
• Use lifting and tipping devices to assist with loading and unloading of also vehicles
• Verify loading documents including weighing before and after loading of goods
• Make regular quality checks of vehicles at routine intervals to ensure they can be driven safely
• Check the condition of the load, search for any faults and ensure that the truck is properly secured
• Collect and verify delivery instructions and plan routes to meet delivery schedules
• Report defects, accidents, or violations
• Maintain an accurate and complete record of documents including logbook, fuel card etc
• Interact with a wide range of customers
• A high level of professionalism/customer service is required
• Complete duties whilst adhering to Health and Safety Protocols
• Be able to work autonomously once provided directions, or in a also team

Job Pre-Requisites:

• At least one year relevant experience.
• Valid class 4 or class 2 Driver Licence.
• Eye for details and customer orientated.
• Being physically fit and hardworking.
