This is a full-time, permanent position with guaranteed at least 30 hours of work per week. As a Factory Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment in our shellfish processing facility by handling cleaning tasks, including chemical handling and machinery cleaning. About The Role

• Chemical handling
• Cleaning of processing machinery and other factory surfaces
• The dismantling of equipment for access to internal machinery parts
• Training of new staff (when trained and competent)

Qualifications

You are a self-starter looking for a new adventure. You have a positive attitude, enjoy working hard and are honest, reliable, and willing to learn.
On-site training provided. Factory cleaning experience advantageous, but not required.

Applicants Will Need:

• Excellent attention to detail
• High level of physical fitness (preferrable)
• Good communication skills
• The ability to work well under pressure
• The ability to learn about the processing machines

Advanced Knowledge In The Following Would Be Beneficial:

• Shellfish Processing Operations
• Cleaning procedures and maintenance practices
• Health and Safety regulations and practices
• Chemical handling
